Cat Ba island

Day 1: Hanoi - Hai Phong - Lan Ha Bay
You will be collected from your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Hai Phong city. Once we arrive in Hai Phong, we board our speed boat to Cat Ba island. Arrive in Cat Ba island after an hour. Transfer to Sun & Sea hotel. Lunch at the hotel with sea food and local specialties. After lunch,  transfer to Beo quay and take your private boat to cruise Lan Ha Bay. Lan Ha Bay is an untouched area of Halong Bay. Amazingly, it is regarded as the most beautiful area of Halong Bay by the local people. You will cruise through thousands of little islands before getting off at Viet Hai quay. We take a walk to see this special village with such a friendly community. Play some games with the villagers or take the optional walk up to Viet Hai

mountain where you get a bird's eye view down to Halong Bay and the villages on its shore. We make our way back to the boat and finish at one of the thousands of small private beaches in Lan Ha Bay for swimming. Back to your hotel in late afternoon. Dinner on your own tonight. ( L )

Day 2: Cat Ba - Halong Bay - Overnight on luxury Junk boat.
Breakfast at your hotel. We depart for Halong Bay by private boat until we board another Junk ( the main one for overnight ). Receive a welcome drink and have lunch upon boarding. Visit Sung Sot cave before reaching Titop beach for swimming and relaxing. View sunset on Halong Bay from the boat. Dinner and overnight on luxury junk. ( B, L, D )

Day 3: Bai Tu Long Bay - Meet local life
Morning wake up to the sounds of the waves. After breakfast you will have a great experience, rowing to Luon cave where you can see some animals in the morning if you are lucky enough. Back to your junk and depart for Bai Tu Long. This scenic area will bring great photo opptunities and from here you can explore further to Hong Gai market, the area where James Bond made his movie named 'Tomorrow Never Dies'. Lunch on the boat and we dock at the Halong tourist pier where our awaiting Van takes you to the Mithrin Hotel in Halong city. Afternoon, we keep discovering the Halong area by driving to another side of

Cua Ong Temple

the city to see Hon Gai. Visit Long Tien pagoda and the fish market to feel how hard people work here. Afterward, we follow the coast to the Coc Sau coal mine, stopping on the way for photography and watch the miners working. You will love this place, so many activities are going on along the way and you would never get to see them from the boat!. Our furthest destination on our expedition today is the religious place of Cua Ong. Cua Ong temple was built in the middle of the mountains, facing Bai Tu Long Bay. It receives thousands of local people who come over every year. As normal, it also has an interesting legend that will be told by your tour guide. We head back to Halong city. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. ( B, L, D )    

On the way up to Yen Tu pagoda

Day 4: Halong - Yen Tu - Hanoi.
Morning departure back to Hanoi. On the way back, we detour to Yen Tu mountain. Yen Tu is a popular buddhism spot for Vietnamese people. It dates back to a fuedalist King during the 13th century Tran Dynasty in Vietnam . People believe that this place is the hometown of Vietnamese buddhism. There are two ways to reach the pagoda, one by foot and the other by cable car. We return to our Van at the summit with the Bronze pagoda then head back to Hanoi. Farewell dinner with your tour guide. ( B, D )
