The Windsor Plaza Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City became the first locally-owned private hotel in Vietnam to get five-star status. The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism conferred the status Saturday on the hotel owned by Van Thinh Phat Co. and built at an estimated VND1.3 trillion (US$ 81 million). |
